Accessibility and Inclusivity
At Mole Hill Hut, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Herefordshire countryside. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where every guest feels respected, valued, and able to relax in comfort.
We recognise the importance of accessibility and have taken steps to accommodate a range of needs wherever possible. The path from the parking area to the hut is flat, though grassed, and may require some mobility. As is typical of traditional shepherds huts, the accommodation is elevated, and access involves a few steps. To support this, we’ve installed handrails on both sides of the entrance steps.
Inside, features such as a slightly raised bed are complemented by a sturdy step for ease of access. Similarly, our nearby Trough cabin has two small steps at its entrance, and we’ve ensured stable footing for safe entry.
While the natural setting of our site presents some limitations, we are always open to exploring reasonable adjustments and welcome any specific accessibility queries before your stay. Our goal is to make Mole Hill Hut as inclusive as possible, and we continue to learn and adapt through guest feedback and best practices.
If you have any questions about access or individual requirements, please don’t hesitate to contact us - we’re here to help.
