About.

The Shepherds Hut.

The self contained living / kitchen space of the Shepherds Hut is a blissful setting for morning coffee & eggs for breakfast on the snug sofa and the light and airy bedroom is perfect for those well earned lie ins in the sumptuous king size bed and White Company linen. The Hut has super efficient electric heating, a modern, well arranged bathroom complete with a power shower and glorious views of the Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and the distant Malvern Hills.

The Trough.

A purpose built, bespoke break-out cabin, sitting alongside the Shepherds Hut, designed specifically to spoil guests with further living space that makes the best of the views to the west. Complete with an effective wood burner just asking to be cosied up in front of, unique up-cycled and repurposed elements, armchairs to sink into after a busy day exploring the Shire and a handmade kitchen that wouldn't look out of place in an interior design magazine - with a copper sink, full-sized electric cooker, coffee machine and microwave. The Troughs’ humble and warm feel gives a sense of ‘hygge', accessorise with your favourite woolly socks and a glass of sparkly, which you’ll find chilled in the fridge on arrival.

The Setting.

Exclusively set within its own three-acre pasture with only grazing sheep and wildlife for neighbours and birdsong as a backing track, the site was specifically created to provide guests with all of the facilities and space they’d need and more, to make it an all year round destination.

Should the weather allow it, al fresco cooking and dining is a must using the fire pit grill, but when Blighty does its thing, you can cook up a storm using the local produce you’ve picked up during the day in the The Trough.

Whether you’re keen adventurers or professional 'kick back and relax'-ers, the outdoor space creates a memorable setting to slow down and soak in the peace and quiet, with countryside sunsets like you’ve never seen before and the most impressive and unspoilt starry sky at night.
